BRING THE KIDS. FOR HALF PRICE
OK, so Psycho might be a bit intense for little Sofia, we get it, but we love having kids at the opera. We welcome children 9-17 years of age as we know they will love the music and spectacle of live opera. We want them to come so much that we offer half price tickets for this age group. We also have many other programs for families.
Since many operas contain adult subject matter, we suggest that parents check the webpage of the opera they are considering attending for any parental advisories as well as the opera synopsis. to make sure it is suitable for their child. (Still have questions? You can always call the box office at 213.972.8001)
Our mainstage operas are not suitable for children under 9 and you will not be allowed into the theater with a very young child. Although you can watch from the lobby, you will likely enjoy the performance better if you leave the little ones at home. We have many, many other ways for you to enjoy opera with your very young child. Click here to learn how.
THE FINE PRINT
