*About Subscribe & Save
Discount
You will automatically save 25% off our already low package price with Subscribe & Save. Since our 11-Show package comes with fixed pricing, your actual savings will be around 34% once you factor in demand-based pricing and fees paid by those that purchase one opera at a time. Lucky you.
Extra Benefits
As a Subscribe & Save participant you will receive priority entrance into the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and priority service at concession stands via your subscribe & save pin that we will issue you (don't worry, it's magnetic). There may be times when the structure of the venue may limit your access to this benefit. You will be invited to a backstage tour and special events at various points throughout the season depending on artist availability and backstage access per production.
Auto-renew
You will receive a 30-day advance notice prior to being auto-renewed into the following season. You won't need to do anything to continue as a season ticket holder: the 15% Subscribe & Save discount will be automatically applied and you will automatically receive your additional benefits, like cut-the-line privileges, backstage tours and access to special events.
Cancel Anytime
You can opt out of Subscribe & Save at any time. All you need to do is call the friendly folks at the box office and they will help you -- no hoops/no hassle. You will forfeit the associated 15% discount on remaining tickets in your package and any unused Subscribe & Save additional benefits (cut-the-line privileges, backstage tours and special events), but you will keep your seats and regular package benefits.
FULL SEASON DISCOUNT
We use demand-based pricing, but lock in prices for our subscribers (artsy speak for 'package holder'). You automatically receive our lowest ticket price, regardless of when you purchase.
PRE-SALE AND LOCKED-IN PRICING FOR ADDITIONAL TICKETS
All-In Subscribers can purchase extra seats to each opera or any performance in the 2026/27 season before they go on sale to the general public, including concerts and Off Grand performances. Tickets to individual performances will go up throughout the season but you can add-on as many tickets as you like at your special insider pricing throughout the season.
PARKING INCLUDED
Parking passes for all shows at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion will be mailed with your tickets.
EASY PAYMENT PLANS
We get it - going to lots of opera can add up, but we can help! You can spread your payments out over a couple months.
SAME SEAT GUARANTEE FOR ALL PERFORMANCES
All-In Subscribers keep their same seats for each performance in a season, so you can really get to know your neighbors and your bartender (just kidding). Please note that due to recital seating configuration for Concert performances, we will seat you as close as possible to your original subscription seats.
KEEP YOUR SEATS YEAR-TO-YEAR
All-In Subscribers have the ability to keep their seats from year to year, so you’ll keep in touch with your seat neighbors and always have that amazing view of all the action on the stage.
BRING-A-FRIEND or SEAT UPGRADE
Each season you get a one-time use voucher that you can use to either: upgrade your seat to a better section (for one performance) or introduce a guest to the wonderful world of opera for just $25 .
COMPLIMENTARY EXCHANGES
Change of plans? Looks like rain? Surprise visit from the in-laws? No problem. As a subscriber you can exchange your tickets for free as many times as you like. If you upgrade your seat section or opera choice, you may have the to pay the difference, but your discount applies.*
TICKET DONATION
You did know that we’re a non-profit, right? If you can’t attend a performance, you may donate your ticket back to LA Opera for a tax-deductible donation.**
COMPLIMENTARY DRINK
Enjoy a glass of champagne – on the (opera) house or other select drink of your choice. A great little perk to make your grand night out a little greater.
*EXCHANGES, BRING-A-FRIEND and SEAT UPGRADE privileges are based on availability.
**TICKET DONATIONS may be made until two hours prior to curtain time of that performance. Exceptions are made for sold-out shows or sections (when tons of people are standing in line to buy your ticket).
