Saturday Mornings at the Opera: Mozart Opera Tales
Discover opera with your little ones
Fantasy adventure, romantic comedy, Mozart did it all. Join us as we save the princess, outsmart the devious Count, and discover catchy tunes that have topped the charts for centuries.
Introduce your young explorers to opera with a show written just for kids, plus interactive arts workshops where they can sing, dance, act, and craft one-of-a-kind souvenirs. You'll even meet some of our local arts partners and discover more opportunities for your family to bond over the arts, right here in LA.
The program is designed for children 3 to 9 years old (but we welcome all ages). All guests, regardless of age, must have a ticket to attend the performance.

About Mozart Opera Tales
Step into the world of Mozart with a story book rendition of two famous operas by one of history's most beloved composers. Our singers will crack open the big book of opera tales and whisk you away with music and stories from The Marriage of Figaro and The Magic Flute. Your family will learn about the art of opera and enjoy the whacky hijinks of Mozart's brave and mischievous heroes, while the villains get their just desserts.
Saturday Mornings at the Opera is a great opportunity to bond with your little ones and practice creativity together. Learn why musical experiences are so vital for young people in this episode of Behind the Curtain, featuring early childhood music expert Dr. Nita Baxani.
