Renée Fleming is one of the most highly acclaimed singers of our time, performing on the stages of the world’s great opera houses and concert halls. A 2023 Kennedy Center Honoree, winner of five Grammy Awards and the U.S. National Medal of Arts, she has sung for momentous occasions from the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony to the Diamond Jubilee for Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. A groundbreaking distinction came in 2008 when she became the first woman in the 125-year history of the Metropolitan Opera to solo headline an opening night gala, and in 2014 she became the first classical artist ever to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. In 2023, the World Health Organization appointed her as a Goodwill Ambassador for Arts and Health.

Renée’s 2023/24 concert calendar included appearances in London, Vienna, Milan, Los Angeles, and at Carnegie Hall. In May at the Metropolitan Opera, she reprised her role in The Hours, a 2022 opera by Kevin Puts based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel and award-winning film. In 2023, she portrayed Pat Nixon in a new production of Nixon in China at the Opéra de Paris.

Renée’s new anthology, Music and Mind: Harnessing the Arts for Health and Wellness, was published in April. A prominent advocate for research at the intersection of arts, health and neuroscience, as Artistic Advisor to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Renée launched the first ongoing collaboration between America’s national cultural center and its largest health research institute, the National Institutes of Health. She created her own program called Music and Mind, which she has presented in more than 50 cities around the world, earning Research!America’s Rosenfeld Award for Impact on Public Opinion. In 2020, Renée launched Music and Mind LIVE, a weekly web show exploring the connections between arts, human health, and the brain, amassing nearly 700,000 views, from 70 countries. She is now an advisor for major initiatives in this field, including the Sound Health Network at the University of California San Francisco and the NeuroArts Blueprint at Johns Hopkins University.

Renée has recorded everything from complete operas and song recitals to indie rock and jazz. In January, Decca released a special double-length album of live recordings from Renée’s greatest performances at the Metropolitan Opera. In February, Renée received the Grammy Award for Best Classical Vocal Solo for her album Voice of Nature: The Anthropocene, with Yannick Nézet-Seguin as pianist. Known for bringing new audiences to classical music and opera, Renée has sung not only with Luciano Pavarotti and Andrea Bocelli, but also with Elton John, Paul Simon, Sting, Josh Groban and Joan Baez. Renée’s voice is featured on the soundtracks of Best Picture Oscar winners The Shape of Water and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

Co-Artistic Director of the Aspen Opera Center and VocalArts at the Aspen Music Festival, Renée is also Advisor for Special Projects at LA Opera, and she leads SongStudio at Carnegie Hall. Renée’s other awards include the 2023 Crystal Award from the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Fulbright Lifetime Achievement Medal, Germany’s Cross of the Order of Merit, Sweden’s Polar Music Prize, France’s Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur and honorary doctorates from eight major universities.

Tituss Burgess will be a featured guest artist for the "Renée Fleming and Friends" concert on June 14, 2025.

An Emmy and SAG-nominated artist, Tituss Burgess has quickly emerged as one of the entertainment industry’s most versatile and dynamic performers, with his work in television, film, and theater generating both critical and commercial acclaim. Tituss most recently starred on Broadway as Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical and as Mary Todd Lincoln in Oh, Mary!, a role he will return to on June 23, 2025. He was seen on TV in Season 2 of the hit Apple TV+ series Schmigadoon!. Tituss starred in the hit Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (nominations for four consecutive Emmy Awards, a SAG Award, and two Critics’ Choice TV Awards). He reprised his role in the Netflix interactive special Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend and was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting actor.

Tituss starred alongside Jane Krakowski in Center of the YOUniverse for Audible, a musical comedy he co-created and which had a sold out run at the Minetta Lane Theatre and is now available to hear on Audible.

In film, Tituss starred in the MGM Aretha Franklin biopic, Respect, and in the Netflix films Set It Up and Dolemite Is My Name. He also co-starred iin the animated musical comedy series Central Park for Apple TV+, for which he was nominated for his sixth Emmy Award. Next up: Spellbound (Netflix).

A veteran of the stage, Burgess made his Broadway debut as Eddie in Good Vibrations and has played Hal Miller in Jersey Boys, Nicely-Nicely Johnson in the 2009 revival of Guys and Dolls, and Sebastian in The Little Mermaid.

Lindsay Mendez most recently starred on stage in the critically acclaimed, Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along opposite Jonathan Groff and Daniel Radcliffe. She reprised her Tony-nominated performance as Mary Flynn from the NYTW run, which garnered her the Outer Critics Circle Award, Drama League, Drama Desk and Lortel nominations. In 2018, she won the Tony Award as well as the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance as Carrie Pipperidge in the revival of Carousel.

On television, she starred in the FX anthology series American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez from executive producer Ryan Murphy, as well as the Warner Bros television drama All Rise for CBS and OWN.

Other Broadway credits include Significant Other, Wicked (as Elphaba in the 10th anniversary company), Godspell, Everyday Rapture and Grease. Off-Broadway/regional credits include The Golden Apple (City Center Encores!), Dogfight (Second Stage; Drama Desk, Drama League and Outer Critics Circle nominations), The Rose Tattoo (Williamstown Theatre Festival), 35mm and The Winter's Tale (Delacorte Theater).

In addition to a debut album titled This Time, her concert work includes appearances with Lincoln Center's American Songbook, the Library of Congress in Washington DC, the Kennedy Center, Feinstein's/54 Below in NYC, Lyrics and Lyricists, the San Diego Symphony and the American Pops Orchestra.

Other television and film credits include Station 19, Elementary, Modern Family, Smash, Murphy Brown, Joanna Gleason's feature debut The Grotto, and most recently the independent film These Little Ones Perish.

In 2012, she co-founded Actor Therapy, a training and mentorship program that she runs in New York City with composer Ryan Scott Oliver.

Jessie Mueller was most recently seen on Broadway in Tracy Letts’ The Minutes.  Previously, Jessie starred on Broadway in the revival of Carousel (Drama Desk Award, Tony, Grammy nominations). She originated the roles of Jenna in Waitress (Tony, Drama Desk, Grammy nominations) and Carole King in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Tony, Drama Desk, Grammy Awards). Other Broadway credits include Nice Work If You Can Get It and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever.  After starring in The Music Man at the Kennedy Center, she returned for Guys and Dolls.  

TV/film: Patsy & Loretta, Madam Secretary, Blue Bloods, Evil, Candy, Chicago Voices (Chicago Emmy nomination), Steven Spielberg’s The Post, A Good Person, and Secret Headquarters.  Jessie can be heard on Netflix’s animated musical series, Centaurworld as Rider” as well as numerous cast recordings, including the newly released Diary of a Wimpy Kid: the Musical.

Doug Peck (he/they) is a Los Angeles and New York based vocal coach, voice teacher, music director, and pianist.

As a coach and teacher, he has the amazing honor of collaborating with Billie Eilish, Hayley Williams, Miley Cyrus, Rico Nasty, Phoebe Bridgers, Skylar Astin, Ben Folds, Rashida Jones, Amy Poehler, Jim Rash, Alex Wolff, Nat Wolff, Jane Lynch, Matt Rogers, Alexandra Billings, Zosia Mamet, Kate Flannery, Briga Heelan, and Debra Winger, as well as stars and ensemble members of Broadway musicals including: Sunset Boulevard, Six, Moulin Rouge, Some Like It Hot, Chicago, Hamilton, Tina, Motown, Shucked, and more.

As a pianist, they appear in concert with artists like Renée Fleming, Heather Headley, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Sutton Foster, Patina Miller, Cheyenne Jackson, Sierra Boggess, Norm Lewis, Michelle Williams (of Destiny’s Child), Jessie Mueller, Andrea McArdle, George Hearn, John Prine, Kristin Chenoweth, André DeShields, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and J’Nai Bridges, among many others at venues like the Hollywood Bowl, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Chicago Humanities Festival, and the Auditorium Theatre.

On screen, he served as vocal coach for Kathryn Hahn, Patti LuPone, Joe Locke, Aubrey Plaza, Sasheer Zamata, and Ali Ahn (Agatha All Along), Mae Whitman (Up Here), Jim Carrey (Kidding), Logan Lerman (We Were the Lucky Ones), the entire cast of Dear White People in its musical final season, and as vocal consultant to the animation departments of Moana, Encanto and Frozen II.

They also created new Indian-jazz fusion arrangements and orchestrations for the stage version of Disney’s The Jungle Book, music supervised the hit off-Broadway musical Ride the Cyclone, conducted Carousel at the Glimmerglass Festival, and co-created the Goodman Theatre’s free musical theatre intensive for high school students who would not otherwise have access to conservatory training.

Doug is a graduate of Northwestern University and is a certified practitioner of Somatic Voicework, as taught by its founder and master teacher Jeannette Lovetri, with additional Vocology studies at the National Center for Voice Science under Dr. Ingo Titze. They were an instructor of Voice and Theatre Practice at USC and the Interlochen Arts Academy. He is a happily partnered amateur chef and proud cat dad to Orpheus and Baldwin.
