Pre-performance talks

One hour prior to every opera performance* of Carmen in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, join LA Opera Chorus Master Jeremy Frank in the Eva and Marc Stern Grand Hall for a pre-performance talk—or listen anytime, anywhere on our Behind the Curtain podcast.

An enormously popular highlight of the LA Opera experience, you'll learn about the history and plot of Carmen, as well as key musical moments to look forward to. Admission to the pre-show talk is included with your ticket to the opera.

*There will be no live pre-performance talk before the 6:00pm opening night performance on Saturday, October 17. Listen to the recorded talk here to prepare for your visit.
