Audition Guidelines and Additional Information

Video Submission Instructions:

  • Video record yourself presenting one aria or song (classical or musical theater) in any language.
  • You may sing with a pianist accompanying you in the video, but it is not required. You may play a recorded accompaniment track on a speaker (as long as it is not louder than your singing), or you can use a headphone in one ear so only you can hear the accompaniment while you sing.
  • The recording can be made using a cell phone and the performance doesn’t have to be “stage ready." We just want to get a general sense of your singing and your personality.

Note about callbacks:
Selected singers will be invited to required in-person callback auditions on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Notifications will be sent no later than January 15. Singers who are invited for callbacks will be asked to learn a short musical excerpt from Noye’s Fludde and be prepared to sing it in person.

Schedule and attendance:
Featured youth performers must attend all rehearsals and performances listed on the schedule below.
