Young Artist Program
The Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program is the professional artist development program of LA Opera. The next opportunity to apply to audition for the program will be for the 2020/21 season. Please check back here for more details in in the summer of 2019.

Internships

LA Opera's internship positions are periodically updated here. Applications are only accepted via mail, fax and e-mail. Due to the volume of submissions received, we are unable to accept phone calls regarding open positions. The following internships are sponsored by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission. In addition to their full-time 10-week paid internship, interns will participate in educational events as part of the program, which is funded by the Getty Foundation. For additional information on the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, the Arts Internship Program, and for a complete list of eligibility requirements, visit the Arts Commission website. In addition, LA Opera will have a limited number of unpaid internships. Candidates who are unable to meet the Arts Commission requirements may apply. Please indicate if you are applying for an unpaid Internship.
