Connect, learn, and grow with LA Opera.
If you are a student in the LA area, we have opportunities for you to attend the opera, learn about careers in the arts, and develop your own performance skills. From elementary school through college, LA Opera Connects is here to support your musical exploration.
People ages 12-17 (and their adult chaperone) can join us on opening night for four LA Opera performances, preceded by an optional pre-show lecture. We think it's a wonderful way to spend an evening out with a loved one—and this one's on us!
LA Opera Connects Opera Camp is a fun two weeks for kids ages 9-17. Make friends, grow as an artist, and learn new ways to express yourself in a safe and nurturing environment. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary.
High school sophomores, are you looking for a one-of-a-kind paid internship? With LA Opera's Leadership Academy, you see the opera house from the inside, develop your skills, and gain mentorship from people actively working in the field.
