Vocal Training Program
Raise Your Voice and Chase Your Dreams
LA Opera Connects is excited to invite middle and high school students living in the Florence‑Firestone area to apply for our new Vocal Training Program, a dynamic, free opportunity designed to nurture talent, build confidence, and expand access to the arts.
This program supports students who are curious about singing and performance—whether they are just beginning or already developing their voice—while equipping them with skills that support their future goals both on and off the stage.
The application deadline is 5:00pm on Monday, April 20.
Participants will receive
Weekly voice and acting lessons (June-August, 2026)
A full scholarship to Opera Camp (July-August, 2026)
Free tickets to four opening night opera performances in our 2026-27 season
Students build a supportive network of peers and experienced mentors who share their passion for music, while deepening their connection to LA Opera and the performing arts community.
