Melissa Treinkman is a singer and voice teacher based in Los Angeles.
She recently portrayed the role of Dulcinea in the world premiere of Juan Colomer's opera Dulcinea XL with LA Grand Ensemble. Melissa made her LA Opera solo mainstage debut in the 2013 production of Carmen and was a featured singer in the 2017 Grammy winning recording of The Ghosts of Versailles. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Southern California. An ardent pedagogue, her scholarly articles have been published in the Journal of Singing and she frequently presents on the speaking and singing voice. She was recently accepted into the prestigious National Association of Teachers of Singing 2019 Intern Program.
