Melissa Treinkman is a singer and voice teacher based in Los Angeles.
She recently portrayed the role of Dulcinea in the world premiere of Juan Colomer's opera Dulcinea XL with LA Grand Ensemble. She made her LA Opera solo mainstage debut in the 2013 production of Carmen and was a featured singer in the 2017 Grammy-winning recording of The Ghosts of Versailles.
Melissa earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Southern California in 2019. An ardent pedagogue, her scholarly articles have been published in the Journal of Singing and she frequently presents on the speaking and singing voice.
