La Bohème Poetry Close-Ups
for Elementary and Secondary Students
These worksheets will help students recognize and create poetic devices. Using the libretto of Puccini’s La Bohème as a reference, students will analyze the text of two of the operatic canon’s most famous arias and use them as a basis for creating their own poetic additions to the text.
