The Prospector

March 27

a celebration of Puccini's The Girl of the Golden West

Based on Puccini’s opera The Girl of the Golden West, our story transports you to the rugged American West where a colorful cast of characters meet in a mining camp during the 1850’s California Gold Rush. Here in this wild and untamed country, a prospector charms a group of coyotes with a story of cowboys and miners competing for the love of a strong and beautiful woman.

Live, Online Art Workshops: 10:00am-12:00pm (via Zoom)
Viewing of The Prospector will be provided via YouTube.

Program is free, but reservations are required.

We will provide downloadable templates of the Art Workshops that you can print at home. Please note that the Art Workshops require families to have access to crayons, scissors and tape (or a glue stick) at home.
