Join Hispanics for LA Opera and other community members on the Music Center’s Jerry Moss Plaza after the performance of El último sueño de Frida y Diego on December 3 for a post-opera Celebración! Come out to the Jerry Moss Plaza for food and crafts for sale, as well as musical performances by Mariachi ensembles the Mata Family (featuring LA Opera Connects tenor Jonathan Lacayo) and Mariachi Las Colibri.

ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego is a new musical portrait of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera created by Grammy Award-winning composer Gabriela Lena Frank and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Nilo Cruz. Resident Conductor Lina González-Granados will command a cast packed with international talent, including Daniela Mack, Alfredo Daza and Ana María Martínez in this tribute to the two iconic Mexican artists.
