 We have experts in music, history, languages and—of course—opera, ready to work with you to integrate opera into your classrooms. Listening to gorgeous music and discussing the latest in arts scholarship with experts in the field…sounds like a perfect Saturday to us!

Things to know:

  • LAUSD salary points are available. (Learn more about Salary Points and view our Homework Menu.) 
  • Seven Saturday sessions from 9am to 3pm.
  • Classes do not include admission to mainstage opera productions.
  • Classes will be held on Zoom.

August 31 - Madame Butterfly by Puccini
October 5 - Romeo and Juliet by Charles Gounod
February 15 - Così fan tutte by Mozart
March 22 - Opera in the Classroom
April 5 - Ainadamar by Osvaldo Golijov
May 10 - Rigoletto by Verdi

Opera for Educators fees:
$20 per session or, purchase all seven sessions by August 9 for $119
