Information for LA Opera Patrons on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

LA Opera considers the safety and well-being of our patrons, artists and employees of our utmost priority and we are continuing to monitor the concern over coronavirus/COVID-19 in Los Angeles. The Music Center, which manages the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion where we perform, is continuously in touch with local health authorities and together we are actively monitoring all recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We are currently not cancelling any events but are working closely with the Music Center as we approach all planned performances. If anything changes, we will alert ticket holders immediately.

The Music Center is taking several precautionary measures to help guests safeguard their health and security by increasing disinfection practices and is in the process of setting up additional hand-sanitizer stations in all public spaces in the theaters and concert halls across campus. We ask that all guests follow the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) by washing hands often with soap and water, avoiding contact with those who are sick, covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue and avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth.

If you are experiencing illness or symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath), please stay home and do not attend an LA Opera performance, per the guidelines provided by the LA Department of Public Health, the Music Center and the CDC. You may exchange your performance tickets for a later performance; LA Opera will be waiving fees on exchanges made for this reason. Please call our box office staff for assistance at 213. 972. 8001.
