This is Whitney’s twelfth season at LA Opera and during that time, she has worked on over 30 productions, including Omar, La Cenerentola, Pelleas et Melisande, Il Trovatore, Eurydice, Tosca, Akhnaten, The Ghosts of Versailles and Candide.
During the summer, Whitney is a stage manager at Santa Fe Opera, where highlights of shows she's called include Romeo and Juliet, Doctor Atomic, The Golden Cockerel and Eugene Onegin, to name a few. She also enjoys stage managing theater as well, which she has done throughout her career. Other companies Whitney has worked with include the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Cincinnati Opera (15 summer seasons), Milwaukee Repertory Theater (10 seasons), Boston Lyric Opera, Dallas Opera, Fort Worth Opera, Atlanta Opera, Utah Shakespeare Festival and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, among others.
A proud graduate of Texas Tech University, Whitney and her husband Raymond are happy to call Los Angeles their home.
