Vocalist and actor Rosie K performs works for stage, screen and new media.
Recent production highlights are Du Yun’s Angel’s Bone (Beth Morrison Projects) in Hong Kong and Beijing, and Noah K and Hampton Fancher’s The Fall of Zalam in Brooklyn, NY. Frequent collaborators include composers Christopher Douthitt and Florent Ghys; filmmaker Nesa Azimi; and designer Pablo Delcan. Upcoming is Azimi and Fancher’s short film, Violence. She writes and records with her band, Dollshot, whose album Lalande was released in 2019. Her translation of Ivan Wyschnegradsky’s Manual of Quarter-Tone Harmony is published by Underwolf Editions.
