Korean-American soprano Jessica M. Choi is excited to be singing stateside again after an extended residence in the United Kingdom. Recent roles include: Cio-Cio San in Madama Butterfly, Mimì in La Bohème and Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte. Ms. Choi was a featured recitalist with LA Opera Connects for Educators in 2019. An accomplished recitalist, Ms. Choi has been featured at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Britten Theatre, St. Stephen's Church, and the South Korean Embassy of London.
Ms. Choi has been recognized both domestically and internationally by the Orpheus Vocal Competition, the Eugene Opera Pacific Northwest Sings Competition, and the Rio Hondo Symphony Competition. She received her Master of Performance and Postgraduate degree from the Royal College of Music in London and her Bachelor of Music from California State University, Fullerton.
