LA Opera adds matinee performance of "Candide"

(Los Angeles) January 29, 2018 – Due to ticket demand, LA Opera has scheduled an additional matinee performance of Candide, Leonard Bernstein's 1956 Broadway classic. The added performance will take place on Saturday, February 17, at 2pm.

The production stars Kelsey Grammer as Voltaire/Pangloss, Christine Ebersole as the Old Lady, Erin Morley as Cunegonde and Jack Swanson in the title role. LA Opera Music Director James Conlon conducts a production staged by Francesca Zambello.

There are six remaining performances of Candide presented at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion (135 North Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, 90012):
