Danish choreographer Signe Fabricius has choreographed widely in opera, theater and film.

Her opera choreography includes Drot og Marsk, Tannhäuser, The Marriage of Figaro and The Tales of Hoffmann for Royal Danish Opera, Eugene Onegin, Don Giovanni, Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg and L’Ormindo for the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Footfalls/Neither for Berlin State Opera, Idomeneo for Vienna State Opera, The Flying Dutchman for Finnish National Opera and Carmen for the Bregenz Festival.

Her theater choreography includes West Side Story for Østre Gasvaerk Theatre, Cabaret for Aarhus Theatre, Hvid Magi for Betty Nansen Theatre and Oedipus, Antigone, Romeo and Juliet, Cabaret, Tove! Tove! Tove!, Shakespeare’s Sonnets, My Fair Lady, The Sorrows of Young Werther and Madame Bovary for the Royal Danish Theatre. Her film choreography includes Fighter for Natasha Arthy, The Shark for Joachim Høst and Star Quality for Pernille F. Christensen.

She began her career as a dancer and actress, appearing in films including Lars von Trier’s Dancer in the Dark and Natasha Arthy’s Mirakel (Miracle).
