Figaro's American Adventure
for Elementary & Secondary students
These lessons will introduce your students to opera through LA Opera Connects' opera, Figaro's American Adventure (it's our fun take on The Barber of Seville by Rossini).
In this bundle, you will find:
- Figaro's American Adventure - Libretto
- Figaro's American Adventure - Lessons/activities for elementary (best for grades 4-6)
- EISO+ - A collection of STEAM exercises for students to identify important elements of set design by choosing items based on text. They learn to manipulate budgets and scales. An answer key is provided, as well as the set items (that students would need to print from home).
- A secondary (7-12) lesson plan that incorporates listening skills with text-based analysis.
