Songs from Eurydice

Posted on: January 27, 2020

We've been talking about Eurydice for a whole year, and now we can finally show you what all the hype is about. Check out some of our favorite photos from the rehearsals of our rapidly approaching world premiere.

And don't worry, it sounds as good as it looks too. Here's a sneak peek at some of the songs you'll hear when you come to the show. But wait... what was that? Still need your tickets? Grab them here.

Now, let's get to the good stuff.

First up, Joshua Hopkins (Orpheus) and John Holiday (Orpheus' Double) sing "Orpheus writes to Eurydice," an impassioned love letter to our dearly departed leading lady.

From heartfelt ballads to something a little more sinister, Barry Banks (Hades) performs the devilish "Orpheus' fingers are weak and long" from Act 1. This moment marks the first time Eurydice meets the God of the Underworld (although she doesn't quite know it yet) in his precarious penthouse apartment.

Can't decide which show you want to come to? Check out this list of cool Eurydice Found events happening at each performance to help you make up your mind.
