Experience world-class opera performances and explore careers in opera and beyond. Hear from the artists and behind-the-scenes professionals about their experience working in the arts. Later this season, it’s on to the theater for a full-scale, nearly opening night ready dress rehearsal performance.

Things to know:

  • Tickets are free.  We invite all parents, guardians, and teachers to apply to the program while students are learning from home.
  • Students can watch the can watch the online operas together as a class, or they can be assigned act by act.
  • Teachers must attend required in-service for in-person events (psst..we make it super fun). For online productions, teachers must schedule an overview call with LAO Connects staff.
  • Teachers can bring up to 50 students and chaperones for in-person rehearsals.
  • This is an amazing way to incorporate arts material into your lesson plans for (nearly) any subject.
