Soprano Kelci Hahn is a SAG-AFTRA session singer, soloist and choral conductor based in the Los Angeles area and is hailed for her “stratospheric ease,“ “pure, killer tone,” and “ability to excel in a wide variety of styles.” She currently sings as a frequent soloist and chorister with the LA Master Chorale under the artistic direction of Grant Gershon. In the 2018/2019 season, Kelci made her Main Stage debut with the LA Phil, in the groundbreaking performance of Meredith Monk’s ATLAS under the direction of MacArthur Genius Grant Winner, Yuval Sharon, as the Spirit Guide. In the 2019/2020 season, Kelci originated the principal role (Makwa) in The Industry’s poignant and powerful new opera Sweet Land, composed by Du Yun and Raven Chacon. Kelci also performs frequently with LA Opera Connects as a principal performer in several operas, including The White Bird of Poston and The Wreck of the Miranda.
 
Not only is Kelci a frequent soloist and stage performer, she can be heard in over 40 film & tv scores, as a soloist, character vocalist and ensemble member.  Kelci is a credentialed music teacher and was the Choral Department Head at Hamilton High School, Visual and Performing Arts Magnet, directing award winning ensembles that have performed on the Ellen Show and The Academy Awards, performing with such names as Pharrell Williams, Carly Simon, Common, Natasha Bedingfield and more. She continues to teach as a Teaching Artist with the LA Master Chorale in the Voices Within Program and with LA Opera Connects.
