Soprano Alannah Garnier is a versatile musician based in Los Angeles and born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 2018, Alannah made her Walt Disney Concert Hall debut in the world premier of Ellen Reid’s dreams of the new world, conducted by Grant Gershon and performed by the LA Master Chorale and Wild Up. She performs many concerts and recitals around Southern California for organizations including LA Opera, LA Opera League, LACMA, LA Master Chorale, the Music Center, Palm Springs Opera Guild, Pasadena Opera Guild and her newly formed operatic quartet Con Forza. Alannah made her Metropolitan Opera debut in the 2019/2020 production of Porgy and Bess. Ms. Garnier is currently a member of both the LA Master Chorale and the LA Opera Chorus where she regularly works with Grant Gershon, James Conlon and Gustavo Dudamel. In addition to her concert and opera performance, Alannah competed in national and international competitions in 2019 including the Hans Gabor Belvedere, Neue Stimmen, Mentoris and received an encouragement award from the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. Ms. Garnier has lent her voice to film soundtracks, recordings of contemporary works and has worked on indie recording projects as a songwriter and demo vocalist. She received a Masters of Music from the University of Missouri, Kansas, City and a Bachelors of Music from the California State University, Long Beach.
