Join the celebration

LA Opera is committed to forging connections and fostering conversations across artistic and academic disciplines, inspired by the work on our stage. We invite the entire County of Los Angeles to join us in periodic large-scale celebrations and investigations through festivals that encompass performances, conversations and happenings in collaboration with hundreds of partner organizations. Festivals have included Ring Festival LA (2010), Britten 100/LA (2014), and Figaro Unbound (2015) and the most recent Eurydice Found (2020), a festival that focused on the female perspective and experience, culminating in the world-premiere of Matthew Aucoin and Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice.

LA Opera is deeply grateful to the community of brilliant artists, scholars and community partners who have joined together for our festival events. Through their talent and generosity, they connect us to our history, to the world around us, to each other, and to our shared humanity.
