(Tony nomination), Well, Rabbit Hole, A Touch of the Poet, In My Life, The Light in the Piazza (Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards), Reckless, Seven Guitars (Tony Award nomination) and The Piano Lesson, among others. Recent work in opera includes Terence Blanchard’s Champion for L’Opéra de Montréal, Kátia Kabanová at Scottish Opera, and upcoming productions of Carmen, Die Fledermaus, Tobias Picker’s Awakenings and Susannah for Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. He holds a BFA from Boston University and an MFA from the Yale School of Drama.
