Costume Shop: Production, Stock & Rental Coordinator
The LA Opera Costume Shop seeks a Temporary Production, Stock & Rental Coordinator. This is a full-time Maternity Leave Cover position of 3-4 months in duration and is responsible for oversight of protocols and procedures for costume and stock management, local/domestic/international shipping, costume cleaning, costume rental, storage and warehousing. This position reports directly to the Costume Director, supervises the Warehouse Manager and Production Assistants, and collaborates with key costume shop, wardrobe and opera staff. Only individuals with professional experience in costume management, logistics and knowledge of import/export documentation should apply.

Applicant must be organized, flexible, computer literate, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines. Position requires the ability to work long hours on a flexible schedule, the ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs., a valid driver license, and a clean driving record.
