About the Opportunity    
 Los Angeles Opera is seeking a Costume Craftsperson. This is a full-time, overtime-eligible position with benefits, with approximately 18–20 weeks of employment anticipated from July to November 2022. 
   
Requirements:  

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Craftsperson in a professional costume shop and strong working knowledge of general costume crafts, as well as skills in dyeing, painting and distressing 
  • Ability to work in a professional manner with creative teams and performers  
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to plan workloads and meet deadlines  
  • Effective communication and organizational skills      

Hourly rate starts at $23.98
