Trumpeter Ryan Darke enjoys a diverse career as a performer and educator.
He has been Principal Trumpet of LA Opera since 2015. He also performs regularly with the Los Angeles Philharmonic both at the Hollywood Bowl and at Disney Concert Hall.
He has played principal or guest principal with Indianapolis Symphony, Saint Louis Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Hawaii Symphony, Los Angeles Master Choral, San Diego Symphony Orchestra, Santa Barbra Chamber Orchestra, Cabrillo Festival Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonia (New Zealand), Stavanger Philharmonic (Norway), Malaysia Philharmonic, and has joined as a section guest with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, Pacific Symphony, and New West Symphonies, among other regional groups.
His freelance work in Los Angeles includes soundtracks and recordings with Warner Brothers, Sony, and Fox Studios, with film work including The Greatest Showman, among others.
