Soprano Virenia Lind has appeared as a chorister in over 100 productions with LA Opera.
She has been a soloist in 11 productions with the company. Principal artist engagements include Musetta in La Boheme (Utah Festival Opera), the First Lady in The Magic Flute (San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival), Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance (San Diego Symphony), the Dew Fairy in Hansel and Gretel (Kansas City Chamber Orchestra), Glinda the Good Witch in The Wizard of Oz (first national tour), and roles in Robert Wilson’s Black Rider (Ahmanson Theater) and roles in La Rondine and Blackbeard (Long Beach Opera). Solo concert work includes appearances with Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Master Chorale, Angeles Chorale, Carmel Bach Festival, Ojai Music Festival, Ventura Symphony, and the London Philharmonia Orchestra. She can be heard on more than 100 major motion picture soundtracks.
