Sunjoo Yeo received her master’s degree in vocal arts from the University of Southern California.

Notable solo appearances include Stories from Korea conducted by Grant Gershon at Walt Disney Concert Hall, Clocks and Clouds conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen at the Hollywood Bowl and Opera Everyone Loves conducted by Edwin Benachowski at the McCallum Theatre. She has performed at the Ojai Festival, San Luis Obispo Festival and Mainly Mozart Festival. She received an award from the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival.

Other solo appearances include the Faure Requiem with Jinju Civic Chorus in Jinju, South Korea, and with both the Moorpark Summer Art Festival and Camarillo Art Festival with the Moorpark Symphony Orchestra. She also toured to Japan with the Roger Wagner Chorale. She performed Messiah and the Messiah Sing Along as a soloist conducted by Grant Gershon at Walt Disney Concert Hall. She also made an appearance as a soloist in the LAMC 50th Anniversary Concert. She has been the children's chorus director for the Independent Opera Company and is the director of Global Growth Youth Federation, a nonprofit organization. She is a member of the LA Opera Chorus and the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
