Michelle Fournier is the first woman to have appeared in over 100 productions with LA Opera.
She has had featured roles in Carmen, Idomeneo, Nicholas and Alexandra, The Marriage of Figaro, Die Frau ohne Schatten, Manon and Tannhäuser. She is heard on many film soundtracks and on recordings with John Mauceri, Esa Pekka-Salonen, Julie Andrews and Linda Ronstadt. She has appeared with the LA Master Chorale, San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival, I Cantori, Carmel Bach Festival and Joffrey Ballet.
