Lily Smith is a 24-year-old French-American soprano. She was born and raised in Paris, France, and later moved to the United States.
In 2019, Lily graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, and a Bachelor of Arts in French language. She is currently working on her Master’s degree under the guidance of Professor Elizabeth Hynes at the Thornton School of Music of the University of Southern California.
This past winter, Lily performed the role of Lana in the world premiere of Uljas Pulkkis's All the Truths We Cannot See in Helsinki, Finland. In the coming months, she will be performing the title role in Cendrillon with Chicago Summer Opera, and Gilda in Lori Laitman's The Three Feathers with Steamboat Opera Institute.
