Overview

LA Opera presents After Hours: A Musical Nocturne, a post-show, concert series hosted and curated by Artist in Residence Matthew Aucoin.

After Hours will feature performances by LA Opera artists, immediately following select opera performances. After Hours takes place in the intimate setting of the Founders Room, located on the second floor of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

After Hours: A Musical Nocturne concerts will take place after the following performances:

The Clemency of Titus:
Wednesday, March 13 - Spanish-language Recital
Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist members; Jose Simerilla Romero and Juan Carlos Heredia perform "Besame mucho", "Granada" and more with Matthew Aucoin on piano.

Saturday, March 16 - Instrumental Recital
Matthew Aucoin is joined by violinist Keir GoGwilt.

Sunday, March 24 - "American Treasures" Recital
featuring spirituals and Celius Dougherty's sailor songs performed by Clemency of Titus cast members; Janai Brugger (Servilia) and James Creswell (Publio) with Matthew Aucoin on piano.

How to Obtain Tickets to an After Hours Concert

Have a ticket to an Opera performance listed above? Visit the table on the first floor lobby on the day of the performance to get your free pass. Passes will be distributed on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. 
Please note: Admission is not guaranteed and admittance to "After Hours" is based upon capacity.

Not attending the Opera performance? Click the "Buy Now" button below for free tickets for the After Hours concert. 
Admission is free, a limited amount of tickets will be available. This ticket does not include admission to "The Clemency of Titus" opera performance.
