Zarzuela is Spanish musical theater that’s fun, fiery, melodic, silly, energetic…we could go on forever. Zarzuela is a guaranteed dose of drama and excitement for both performers and audiences.

Inspired by LA Opera General Director and all-around superstar Plácido Domingo's deeply rooted love for the art form—his parents were famous zarzuela performers—we created The Zarzuela Project as a place for everyone to come together and experience the magic of performing.  Come by and check out a rehearsal, we’ll save you a spot.

The Zarzuela Project is a collaboration with The Mariachi Conservatory. Want to learn a mariachi instrument to accompany your singing? Open to adults and students, classes are offered FREE of charge.
Check out their amazing music here.
