Opera Tales Tour

Opera always begins with a story and LA Opera celebrates the power of the story and the joy of music through its hugely successful Opera Tales productions. Join LA Opera for this fun, high energy show as it tours to libraries in partnership with the County of Los Angeles Public Library. 


Perfect for the whole family, LA Opera is touring Puccini Opera Tales in March 2017, Travel with our "opera pals" through the magical moments of some of Giacomo Puccini's greatest stories: The Girl of the Golden WestTurandot, and Gianni Schicchi.

Library Audience

The Opera Tales partnership between
LA Opera and the County of Los Angeles Public Library was established by Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe, Fourth District. Generous funding for the Opera Tales tour is provided by Supervisor Don Knabe and the Flora L. Thornton Foundation.


Requirements: Program is open only to County of Los Angeles Public Libraries.
