Paul Jarski, a native of Southern California, is a pianist and vocal coach who has distinguished himself in a wide range of solo, chamber and operatic repertoire. He has recently accepted a coaching fellowship with the Aspen Opera Theater, and in past seasons he has worked with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, Tanglewood Music Center, and Opera on the Avalon. His performance credits include Weill Recital Hall, Ozawa Hall, Founder’s Hall at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, and University Theater at California State University Long Beach. He has performed in master classes taught by Stephanie Blythe, Phyllis Curtin, Deborah Polaski, Marilyn Horne, Thomas Hampson, Cheryl Studer, Håkan Hagegård, Diana Soviero, Martin Katz, and John Fisher. After completing his BM degree at the San Francisco Conservatory in only two and a half years, he worked at California State University Long Beach as a French diction coach for The Tales of Hoffmann. He has an MM degree from the Manhattan School of Music where he is now pursuing a DMA and studying with Warren Jones.
