Trained at the Belliston Academy of Ballet and the School of American Ballet, Seth Belliston is an award-winning classical ballet artist. He is a recipient of the prestigious Princess Grace Award for Excellence, as well as the Mae L. Wien Award. Mr. Belliston has appeared around the globe as an international guest artist. When in London, the BBC filmed Mr. Belliston’s performance of Puck in George Balanchine’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which has aired on PBS and is available on DVD. He has an expanded repertoire of ballets by renowned choreographers such as Balanchine, Robbins, Forsythe, vanDantzig,Taylor, Duato and Martins. Mr. Belliston is also at home in the classic story ballets such as The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet and, of course, The Nutcracker. He has performed in Aida, The Merry Widow and The Birds with LA Opera. Theater credits include A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden, choreographed by Susan Stroman. He was an original cast member in one of Jerome Robbins' later works, 2 & 3 Part Inventions, and he has appeared in Mame, La Cage aux Folles, Maury Yeston’s Hans Christian Andersen, Applause!, Camelot, Sound of Music, L’il Abner, On Your Toes, On The Town, Baby, Never Gonna Dance and the Broadway company of Movin’ Out. Film credits include The Producers, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry and A Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey.
