American soprano Rachel Willis-Sørensen recently returned to the Semperoper Dresden for roles including Mimi in La Bohème, Hanna in The Merry Widow and Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte. She has appeared with Covent Garden as the Countess in The Marriage of Figaro and Gutrune in Götterdämmerung and with Houston Grand Opera as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni. She debuted with the LA Phil in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. She is an alumna of the Houston Grand Opera Studio and the Santa Fe Opera Apprentice Program.
